I can't wait!!!! I can't wait. I can't wait! I can't wait. I am so tempted quite soon to make hotel reservations and all that jazz, because I simply must go.

Not to mention, that'll probably be a few days before I head off somewhere in the US to start my PhD program and I'll become a hermit for a few years.

Wheeeeeeeeee! And it's just under 2 years away - which we all know isn't that far away at all *squees* And whee! Sounds like it'd be a great way for you to hang out/have fun before you go be a hermit (though hopefully not too reclusive :D)

it's 2.5 - 3 hours on the bus to downtown Chicago. Something like $50 round trip. I would bring my car if it weren't so bloody expensive to park in downtown Chicago :( But yeah, I'm there. There is NO way in hell I won't be at a big HP gathering in Chi-town :D
