I has been ages since my last post, but that is the story in my busy life!! I took my ASHA Certification Examination yesterday morning. It was by far the hardest thing I've ever taken in my life. That is right, in five months I will officially be done and have my M.A. and CCC-SLP! Wahoo, the excitement and joy contiues to build and I'm pretty sure by May it will be overflowing. So, I think I have decided I like celebration of life services. It was quite different then a funeral... but in a good sense. It fit my grandma to a T. By the Gulf in the sun, folks remembering all the good times, talking, eating and looking at some wonderful poster candid shots that my grandpa made. So basically, this whole month has now become a big fat ball of blurriness. If that is even a word. There really is nothing to say. I mean I do the same thing week in and week out. If only I could go on a mini vacation to get away from it all. Everything is so busy and happening all at once. I just want one night/day where I don't have to work at Target, plan for therapy, read neuro, write-up eval reports, or do online class stuff. Just one day to myself. I am feeling a burnt out soon... wishing I could go away just away.

Same old same old.. School #36 is going well. The kids all love coming to speech and I don't sit there and teach sounds all day, THANK GOD. I work on a lot of language skills, site words, fluency, with some minor articulation. I even got to participate in a CSE/FBA meeting today, hippie skippie (NOT!) Wow. August is just flying by there is only on more week and that week is when classes begin, again. I am not ready to go back to class and plan for therapy, I definitely enjoy being able to be LAZY! 21 credits in 12 weeks with a GPA of 3.92 and 4 hours of therapy (each week, for 7 weeks) DONE DONE DONE!!! Now, all I have left is my two practicums, 3 regular classes, clinic audiology hours (testing people's hearing, one credit), and giving evaluations (2 credits)...
