Hi Ellen!
What day do you start classes? I'm going back to Exeter on Saturday. I find it oddly reassuring that everyone on your side of the Atlantic is going back around now, even though I'm not starting lessons until October. I'm just moving my stuff in and then coming back to my parents' to finish getting ready for two weeks in Spain, eeeee! But it'll be good to be home. In a house, and everything. So, when do you start/ go back? xx

It's Nicola! *Gasp* I start classes September 6, but I'm going to go in earlier in the week to welcome the first-years. We always have a ceremony-type thing with speeches and lots of upper years turn up, so it should be good. I think I might just go insane if I had to wait until October to start classes again. Serves me right for not getting a proper job, but then again, jobs usually make me even more eager to go back to school!

Two weeks in Spain? Oh, I'm jealous. I miss being so close to... everything. I want pictures! But when I'm in the middle of readings and essays and you haven't started, you can gloat. But only if I can gloat at you in May. ;)

My job definitely has that effect on me - I work retail now, so that in the future, no matter what other job I end up doing, I can be glad it's not retail.
There will be many pictures. And you're close to awesome Canadian and American stuff, it's not all over this side of the Atlantic. (But if we tell you it is, will you come and visit?)
I won't gloat, don't worry, cause in May I will be revising like a mad thing and really really don't want to be gloated at. Exams in June, remember this strange occurance from earlier this year? Yeah... But that's not for months yet, yay! Freshers' week and fun times first :D
