So the parking situation at Eastern Michigan University is a bunch of bull. The whole front half of North Lot is labeled as commuter parking. Fine, it's bull but if that's how they want it, fine. true they don't have enough parking for their residents and the parking they have is a hellah far away... and the wonder why no one lives on campus... I received this from Hillary Glowski after I talked to her last night. She made the phone call I told her to make, and look what happened! :-D

To anyone who got a ticket in North Lot 1 yesterday, go to DPS and they will waive the ticket (if you have already paid then they will reimburse you). DPS is getting the signage fixed so that the parking situation is identical to the map you received with your hang tag. As far as security at night SEEUS is out there on a nightly basis PLEASE USE THEM that's what they are here for. In the mean time, they are working on getting new emergency phones out in North Lot......Please pass this on if you know any one who was affected by the ticket situation and feel free to have them IM me or email me at hillary.glowski@emich.edu
