Game of Thrones...or not

So, the other night El Husband finished watching Season 3 of Game of Thrones (only 3 because we don't have a TV, only now because he started out #250 or so on the waiting list at the library). That was an awesome scene. There are so many. But you knew then it was going to stretch the imagination.

I am a huge GoT fan. Both the books and the tv series.

Maybe I will try the books. (Though it might make it hard to read when I'm peeking from between my fingers, lol!)

GoT has touch-me-not written all over it, although I usually don't mind stories in the fantasy genre. I think I prefer my fantasy consumption not to abide in an everlasting dystopia, which defeats the whole purpose of imaginary worlds for me. Even if the universe cannot be reconstructed by acts of heroism or redemption, I like to see the characters evolve at least.

Well, he tells me that Vapida (sister of Creepius) has developed into quite an interesting character.
