Well, the last story was posted yesterday morning! I'm sad that it's over, but it's been a fantastic journey- there's such an incredible collection of high quality fiction and art- it's wonderful. Haha, well, the real life stress was more of the stress I was thinking of. I've got an abstract to submit in a week for data I haven't finished analysing, I just finished finals for my classes, boys can be jerks (even when they are as old as their late 20s, they still seem like boys), etc. Blech. The Cup was mostly just a ton of fun! I tried not to let it stress me too much. It was definitely a relief from RL pressures to read all the great stories everyday.

I did see that smoochfest had started posting, but I haven't had time to look at any of them yet. I'll get to them soon! *crosses fingers*

Hiya! They haven't announced the winner yet actually- that's supposed to happen on the 18th (even though voting closed on the 12th), so we still have a couple days. I'm sorry it took me a couple days to respond- I drove over 800 miles cross country and got hit by an 18-wheeler, but I'm okay! A bit skittish arond big trucks, but alright. It's been a crazy couple of days. I'm really looking forward to the end tabulations. Two more days!! Hope all is well with you.

Yay! Thanks for checking them out. I wish I could rec all the ones I enjoyed the most, but I really don't have the time... maybe in the future, I can compile a list...

I've got the worldcup masterlist open in my browser. I try to vote on as many fics/art as I can manage before the 12th. There are so many fanstastic stories there!

That there are! I had so many stories I really loved and enjoyed- I wish I could find the time to go back and remember my favourites and rec them... that might be a project for the distant future... Good luck with voting (and thanks for doing so!). :)
