Radek was grumpy. Not sick grumpy or destructive, or anything like that, just grumpy. It probably had something to do with the fact that he'd done nothing for weeks, and that without the still, he didn't have much in particular to work on. And he didn't think Rodney would appreciate his help with anything at the moment, even if there was something

"Hi," Jill said when she entered the hut, carrying another stack of notes, her hands full of them. The alcohol was gone from the hut and she hadn't told Radek where it was, which she imagined was probably for the best.

"How do you feel?" she asked, putting her things down.

Radek shrugged a little bit, putting his book down. She was as good an excuse as any to stop reading. "Bored," he said finally. It was a common thing on the island.

He sounded grumpy, which just served to amuse Jill a little more when she knew that it shouldn't. She couldn't help herself, though. Somehow, she needed to take amusement out of the entire situation or it would drive her crazy.

"Whiny, too," she pointed out with a smile, then crossed over to the bed.

"I am not whiny," Radek said, leaning over and reaching to grab her hips, pulling her down gently onto the bed. "I am just bored."
