I'm kind of surprised you guys get acts like that out there. We have a hard enough time here in Edmonton getting good bands to come through. Usually it's like "Tour Dates: Vancouver, Toronto"

This is only recent. Before this, I'd grow up watching Much Music (back when they played music, hey?) and watch "Cross Canada Tour Dates" that ended in Halifax like we weren't even a part of Canada ( ... )

Maybe it all has to do with Russell Crowe? He was pretty much living here during the winter.

Really? Aren't your winters kind of brutal? I work with a guy from NS and he says school shuts down at -20 whereas here it's tolerable.
