My Ear (Trigger Warning: Needles, blood)

Now that I've calmed down a bit from last night (I'm still grumpy and stressed and disappointed but it seems easier to deal with in the day), I've noticed that I actually didn't talk about my ear problem. I bring it up, but don't follow through.

Oh my goodness! The thing with your ear sounds horrible! =( Hopefully they can fix it!! And weird what happened with your blood. Why do you get bloodwork done every 3 months? Also where are you going on Vacation? (which state?)

I have to get bloodwork done every three months for hypothyroidism to check and see if my medicine is still working. I went a while (a few years) without checking it, and when my doctor realised I hadn't and made me go, my thyroid was severely fucked and they had to radically change my dosage. :( So now I try to play nice with it and go when they want me to.

And I'm going to Boston for a night and then off to Myrtle Beach, and some other places in South Carolina. I'm super excited! My only other venture to the states was a daytrip to Detroit when I was 10 and I got lost in a mall. I'm hoping this turns out better. :p

I read where you said you were going to make props for your own photobooth, but I just wanted to let you know about this site that has really cheap wedding supplies... wow. thanks for the follow-up. I hope it works out. at first I thought it might have been vertigo, I hear that is awful. yikes. I've had one ear infection --this most recent May. it was unpleasant. good luck with that. as summer is here and swimming is happening, I'm getting more sensitive to that.

also, I wish we had socialized medicine. that sounds wonderful. the unemployed situation is frightening me because I have chronic health conditions that require medical care. ugh.

why do you get your blood drawn every 3 months? I feel like I should know why...

For my hypothyroidism, just to check that the dosage I'm on is still working. Though, the last time I went, the doctor called me back and said every 6 months should be good now.
