Sleep

Mike's out of town, and I'm discovering that it's almost impossible for me to sleep without him here. I always had difficulty falling asleep when he'd be out at a party and home late, but I would manage. I never really noticed, but when he went to Halifax this spring I would stay up all hours of the night. I'm not sure I put the two together before

They're all over the counter pills, but mostly melatonin and this herbal sleeping pill that has catnip in it and my cats try to steal from me but they can't have it! I know if I asked my doctor about getting a prescription he'd lecture me that I don't need them. But hot milk, otc pills and, if I have to, neocitran or something similar work for me right now. Mike comes home today, so hopefully I can get my sleep back on track for work tomorrow!

Also, my cats sleep in my bed (well, one in my bed and one under my bed) but Mako takes *all* my foot space! He's such a bed hog.

Mako's huge and fat, and so he takes up even more space than normal. Reilly sleeps under the bed and freaks me out in the middle of the night when I wake up and hear him snoring under the bed. That or he's trying to sleep on my pillow, wrapped around my head. Does Luna do that, too?

I sleep crap too if my husband is away. Though last time he was gone for like 6 days I eventually started sleeping ok. It's weird because I used to sleep crap with someone next to me and now it's the other way around.

Your cats sound so cute :) One of my cats sleeps inbetween our pillows. Sticking her head all the way under mine aswell. Which wakes me up too as I always think I am suffocating her. I envy those ppl that can fall asleep right away. Anywhere, any place.
