Beautiful
There's really something just so incredibly beautiful about looking out over a field of snow, untouched by anything but the wind, a couple animals, and my own footprints. I love the plateau here. A friend and I got up early this morning to hike up a ridge and see the sunrise. On the way up we saw nothing except lots of snow, trees, and animal tracks, no sign of humans except our own snowshoe tracks.
