I have a cat. I thought everyone should know. Well, actually, no, I didn't think that at all, but it's the most noteworthy thing that has happened to me since Thursday, so thus, I mention it. I haven't named her yet (I can't think of anything), but there. She's been mentioned.

Having received a rather...interesting recording yesterday, I would ( Read more... )

Yes, Aurelia deserves to be called names not used in polite society.

However, you should tell more about the kitten. Compared to the kitten, Aurelia is positively boring.

I don't know. Maybe the conversation isn't quite what I think it is? Maybe it's been taken out of context. Surely she wouldn't say that.

Oh, the kitten -- well, you know what she looks like. She's silly as a sheep, a right fluff-ball and currently considers the window sill to be the best thing ever. That, and dust motes.

I am unsure how you could possibly think that was out of context, after she said what she did. There is no other context.

Of course I know what she looks like. I meant you should tell everyone else. Fluffy balls of adorable silliness actually deserve to be discussed.

Maybe I didn't hear it all, maybe there was a bit that I missed which would explain it. It just doesn't make sense.

But you just posted a picture, why would I need to describe her? And thanks for the name suggestion, I might actually use it. Just, one question. How on earth do I pronounce it?

And, since you cannot post a picture, I shall.

No. It is not some Slytherin ritual. Millicent, in a burst of bloody brilliance, decided that it would be helpful in some way to fling me into ice-cold water. Don't ask me how that was supposed to help, because her logic eludes me. I'm just glad that I didn't get sick from it.

You have a kitten? What does she look like?

And...I will talk to you about that other thing separately.

Oh...nevermind. There's a picture. She's very cute.

Okay. Right. I'll stay up here and just watch, thanks.

Can't. I'm not allowed to access the filter any more.

Oh. Well, that makes sense, I suppose. Um...I guess we can just talk about it here, if you want to.

Your kitten is absolutely adorable. And she sounds very smart too.

I would have thought the lake would be freezing. Perhaps she'd just eaten some mexican food or something.

I thought she was kind of cute. Now I just need a name, and really, I can't think of anything. Nothing at all. It's rather shameful, actually.

I would have thought so too. I swear, I will never understand some people.

She is cute. Cute in an adorable way. It looks like you have a name for her now too, and it's a lovely one.

I did sit at the lake in the middle of winter once, but I never jumped in. People are hard to understand, sometimes. It's all those glands causing all those unhelpful emotions.

I suspect that I will be tripping over it for the first few weeks and then mocking everyone else who cannot say it. It looks like fun. That, and she just looks like an Ankaa, now that I see it.

I fell in during summer, and that was shocking enough. I wouldn't want to do it in mid-Autumn. It looks rather cold and stuff. And emotions are entirely over-rated.

Your kitten is quite exquisite. Where did you get her?

Susan owled for her in a mail order.

I didn't know you could do that with kittens.

That is how we got Harry's kitten as well.
