I have concluded, after long and careful study, that NEWTs might be the hardest thing yet. In fact, it most probably will end up being the hardest thing ever, if my brush with silly insanity is any indication. Sadly, yes, I have to confirm that Susan and I were kicked out of the library for pulling each other's hair. In our defence, we had been ( Read more... )

I will have you know that my hair is now--what colour is it? Not pink! But the annoying white streak is back. Why? I look horrific in pink. Adalia took a picture anyway.

I cannot believe that you're attempting to set up your textbooks. And that explains why I hurt all over.

I didn't charm your hair. Blame your wand. You're the one who likes to use it to keep your hair back. I told you that it was too long, but noooo, don't listen to me, I wouldn't know anything.

I'm curious as to the offspring. I fully maintain that it would turn out like Ernie's sister. We'll see about it. And yes, that would be the reason.

You didn't charm my hair, you dragged my wand out of my hair, which made it turn my hair pink. As I have previously discussed, there is no verbally implemented charm that changes the colour. And there's nothing wrong with using it that way most of the time, when certain people aren't trying to yank out my hair.

Oh, dear Merlin. Why would you inflict more than that upon the world? I've heard that little girl has not been silent for one moment since she arrived.

It told me to. It was just there, it had to be pulled. What else was I meant to do, leave it in there? And it's not like you can talk. You stole my rune and wouldn't give it back. You are a horrible person and I will suffer in agony until you give it back. Meanie.

Intellectual curiousity? Complete and utter derangement? One of those.

It's wonderful to hear that you're back at Quidditch! Even if you are competing against the Ravenclaw team. Kevin's probably going to accuse me of treachery or something for saying that, but I will deal with that when it comes about.

Indeed - it will make the games a lot more interesting. It's only any good to come up with game plans if you know what you're going to counter. Welcome back to the grand sport.

Though I must say that I haven't found the Ravenclaw hairstyles quite so lacking, for the most part...

Well, you might have to deal with it sooner rather than later, we play them first. But yeah, I got sick of everyone saying "You should play" and have given up trying to tell them that I wanted to pass this year.

Oh, I knew that. He hasn't accused me of anything yet, though. Any moment now. You can pass the year and play Quidditch at the same time, you know. You've been doing it for a few years now, I suppose, so I'm sure you'll manage perfectly well.

Is it mating season at Hogwarts? First the... activities... in Ravenclaw House, and now you and your texts. If I find any of your books hidden about our Common Room-- and let's not even mention the condition of the pages!-- the Wrath of Ernie MacMillan shall be visited upon you faster than you say say "Helga".

What? People do that with their textbooks? Well, apart from Granger, that is. That's so wrong. Although, I am curious. What would the offspring of an arithmancy and a potions text be like? Probably nerdy, bookish...Ernie, I think I know where your sister came from.

Are you implying that my parents are textbooks?

No, merely that she isn't your sister and that she was dropped on your doorstep by textbooks, eloping off to Ravenclaw Tower.

Shut up. It makes sense to me.
