Well done, Abbott and Macmillan. I'm quite impressed with the both of you. You know, we wouldn't have minded too much about you two doing it, but to lie about it afterwards? The Slytherins may say that ambition is dead, the Gryffindors may say that chivalry is dead, the Ravenclaws say...well, no-one really knows because they're playing games, ( Read more... )

Oh, why are you so angry? You kissed Susan, after all.

At least he did not lie about it.

It was still of the same idea. He may have acknowledged what he did, but how is that not a betrayal still?

It still is. But he did not compound it by denying it happened. It does not make it right, but it does make it less wrong.

I've said it once; I've said it a thousand times.

I didn't think my impression of your house could go any lower.

I'd just like to clarify.

As Ernie has said, I actually was the one to kiss him. However, there was no sort of--tongue--or snogging involved. I merely gave him a kiss on the corner of his mouth, as a 'good luck', considering he was wandering back to a dormitory where he was fighting with you.

Therefore, if you do plan to take this whole situation out on someone, it really does deserve to be me. I was the one who initiated it and it was stupid of me, but it also happened and there's nothing that can be done to change it.

Any time you'd like to stop playing the martyr, Abbott? It grates after a while, especially when it's so patently false. I'm sure you just threw yourself at him and he put up a valiant fight but was unsuccessful.

That was sarcasm.

I know.

No, it is my fault. He didn't even kiss me back. That's why I'm 'playing martyr' so to speak.

Oh, so you tied him to the chair and threw yourself at him? Uh huh.
