If you had actually followed my advice, I daresay your father would not have hit you, Zacharias. Now, if you'll come out of hiding, I'll fix your bruises.

I did. I got hit. Three times that I recall.

It won't work. There's a spell on them stopping anything from working. Apparently it's to teach me to keep control of my temper. I think he's a sadistic bastard.

Somehow I doubt you did. And who punched first, you or your father?

Ah. I see. Gareth, eh? I'm not sure if he's brilliant or sadistic. My face hurts quite a bit, though, so your father must be a fairly good shot.

You could come out of hiding anyway. Staring at the table isn't going to make them go away, you know.

You said "Ask your parents why they did what they did". So I did. They took offence and told me off, I took offence at their taking offence and informed them of it and then he told me not to speak to my mother like that. So I just snapped. I don't know who punched whom first, but I know I was hit about three times because I've got the bruises.

Very good. Inherited the hand-eye co-ordination from him.

Well aware of that, Susan. I don't want to, though.

Don't you dare get on your sanctimonious high horse, Weasley. Is anyone in your House talking to you?

It won't help. It screws around with my new medication. Apparently this one won't turn me into an insomniac. We'll see.

Right, so no alcohol. Sleep is far more important than alcohol.

Also, she chucked a fit when she found out and gave me a lecture about how it was rather useless to take it when alcohol's a depressant and thus counteracts what the medication's supposed to do.

It's just not fair!
