I suppose it's rather silly, really, putting such a great significance on nothing more important than another day. Even if it is your birthday. However, it isn't every day that you turn eighteen (or the novelty would have worn off ages ago), and so I'm determined to enjoy it for what it's worth. Even if 'enjoy it' actually means 'sleep for more ( Read more... )

You are not charming my hair magenta. I'm aware that you find this amusing, but honestly. Magenta is the most wretched colour ever.

Does this mean that you're planning on having a relationship with some other girl, or that I've been upgraded to normal and sane?

As for the gift, it just seemed appropriate after Christmas.

Just as a note, Margot's hair was done much more carefully than I almost ever bother with, so pulling it is superfluous.

Why won't anyone think of the poor suffering eighteen year old? It would be for the benefit of everyone, you know, to have your hair that colour, if only because it would be funny. And we need something entertaining. Come on, for me? The Mirror'd thank you.

I was planning on dating the entirety of the school at the same time, see how long it takes for people to realise, that sort of thing. After all, it'd be fun! Not a very good career move, I'm sure, but that's all right. I'll live.

A set of boxing gloves would have been as well.

But it's fun. And you wrinkle your nose up and that's funny.

But magenta? Really, couldn't you settle for blue? Or the infernal skunk stripe that I managed to put in this evening and refuses to go away? It looks quite rediculous. I had to take my hair down.

You shall be quite the busy boy, then. There are quite a lot of people in the school.

Not so much in the long run, though. Besides, I hear they're quite cumbersome.

You just like hair-pulling. And I wrinkle my nose? Oh dear.

I did blue. It was boring. I haven't done magenta as of yet. Or possibly lavender. Probably not lavender. Turquoise? If I'm going to do it, I'll do it properly. And however did you do it, anyway? The stripe, I mean. I don't remember you doing it, it was just there when I woke up again.

Time management is the key.

Yes, they are. I've never really managed to get into them, however I was thinking of the long term. Learning how to deck someone properly is a long term goal.

Well, yes. To both. It's funny, because I remember my sister doing much the same expression when she was about six.
