Well, courtesy of Miss Frantzberger deciding to share my private life around as though it is one of her tabloidal stories, I now have detention. And a black eye. The two are related, although I dare say that I'm a "meek little Hufflepuff". I don't do meek. It doesn't work well with me, and I have no idea what I'd do with the world when I had it ( Read more... )

Smith. People beat you up because they hate you. Don't blame your family, it's pathetic.

To quote a really bad cliche, if you think I look bad, you should see the other person.

I won the fights. I was more annoyed at the fact that people such as yourself made a little girl cry because you couldn't prove yourself any other way. I mean, really, making little kids cry will not make your penis any bigger.

Really? I had no idea. Smith, you're crying like a little girl right now. Stop whinging no one cares.

I could say something about how you're on my journal looking for attention. I could also say that you're a wretched excuse for a human being and will never make it as a lawyer because you're not actually supposed to offend everyone you work with. I could even say that you're the one that helped kill off Lim.

But then I realise that no matter what I say, you're still going to be stalked by a psychopathic murderer who has no concept that obsessions are bad. And that just puts everything into perspective. There is nothing I can say to you that is worse than that.

Zacharias, I'm just sick. I'm sorry, people are closed minded about things they don't understand. If your cousin would like a girl to talk to (sometimes girls do better with other girls or something) or I mean even if you want to chat, well you know where I am. Or if not, that's okay too. Well, you know the drill by now, "Hi I'm Lisa Turpin, and I'm here!" The end.

Well, I considered passing her off to someone else, but she just threw herself at me, and 5'8" of lanky eleven year old is rather difficult to dislodge when she's doing her best impersonation of a limpet. That, and I get where she's coming from. It's not exactly easy fitting in here, that is, if you want to.

I understand, I mean, not entirely, but I know plenty of people think I'm off my rocker. I think that sometimes fitting in is overrated anyway, but she's young. She'll come to things on her own terms. If you or her need anything don't hesitate to ask okay?

No, it's more the fact that I know what she expects to see and hear, because I used to. And I know what it's like, because I did it. And I'm hoping to make sure that she doesn't do what I did, or feel she has to.

Oh, that's terrible. That's despicable. I can't believe people can still be that horrible. Or I can believe it, which makes it even worse, really.

Do you or Richelle need anything? I know I'm not Lisa, but I can listen if Richelle wants to rant, or cry, or just sit, or anything.

Is getting her coherentish a good thing? I personally thought it was, but now everyone's staring at me as if I killed a kitten. I didn't make her cry, I've only just found out why she's crying and I wish I knew what I'm supposed to do now.

I would think that it's a good thing, however I suppose it depends. How exactly did you get her to be coherentish?

I'm sure that whatever you do, it will be okay for her. After all, she came to you because she trusts you to help her. Therefore, you will. I don't know exactly how it works, but I think it's a family thing.

I have absolutely no idea. Probably didn't throw her off me, I guess.

And I think she just came to me because she knows me from before. And knows that I know her background and why it's just so irritating and offensive. Not a lot do, you know.

Oh no. Is she all right now? Are you all right? My face feels like it had a close encounter with a hippogriff.

She's fine, just crying and stuff. Well, I think she's fine. How do you tell? But she's not crying anymore, and is making sense, so I thought that was a start. Of course, I've also just managed to convince her not to run away, to kill them or to hex them, telling her to leave the last to me, and the first is showing that they won. She gave me a very shrewd look and said that explains a lot about me.

I hate it when kids psychoanalyse you.

And I'm fine. The other kids are worse. No-one expected me to fight back.

You're such a boy, love. Do you want me to come talk to her? Or, barring that, fix her hair? Don't expect that to make sense. Richelle is a very shrewd girl, I think.

All right. You are planning to get that fixed, aren't you?

smith_badger February 12 2005, 20:43:20 UTC
Um, yeah? I don't follow the logic behind it, but I guess? After all, I need my hands free to fix her glasses up, and so far I've got hands full of not-happy eleven year old (I'm dictating this). She's a very strange girl -- OW! Don't hit me, Richelle, and especially not there.

Remind me, how am I related to her again?

Nope. I plan to use it as a warning. And it puts me in a bad mood, so that helps.

I wasn't getting their names, oddly enough. Bunch of Slytherins, you know the drill. Most likely a year or two younger than us, but still annoying.

And I have small friends who would be nice enough to help out. One does not hit a Hufflepuff and get away with it. They especially do not make a little girl cry.
