I am sufficiently underwhelmed. Watching a fish in its tank would be more enthralling than writing in a journal for no reason or reading other peoples' pointless writing - or ink blots in Weasley's case. Too bad my stupid father won't let me even have a fish. Maybe that's what we can do tomorrow, Chloe. We'll sneak in a fish and then take bets on ( Read more... )

It would be terribly fitting too, seeing as her Patronus is supposedly a goldfish -- one never knows how much these books may be fabricating though. But Smithy wouldn't do something to the poor fish while you weren't looking and claim it to be an accident, now would he?

I wouldn't put it past him. And he'd certainly neglect and starve the poor thing while I'm away at school.
