we can sit here all day and talk about this, I am honestly starting to believe that "they" are the normal ones and that I am the one that is insane... my 6 year old step daughter came home upset after her weekend with her mother (she sees them every other weekend) sad because her mother told her there is not Santa Claus and that there is no God...her justification was that she was not going to lie to them which is fine but then she should also tell them the real reason as to why they dont live with her ( she decided being a mother was not for her, cheated on her husband on her oldest daughters birthday and left )
There's no Santa Claus?!?!?!smitheeNovember 22 2003, 10:57:56 UTC
thats awful. she should probably be beaten with a plastic mixing spoon. i'm sure i could come up with a better punishment but thats the first thing that came to mind. go figure. I've always been proud of my beliefs but respectful of others to let them decide for themselves.

I was thinking more of driving her off the road ;), in all honesty, I have my own issues with religion and certain belief, this however came after my own lived experiences, they were never pressed on by anyone, but I was able to experiment with what made more sense to me. I was kicked out of cathecism 3 times before I shut my mouth and decided to just follow the hurd before my grandmother died of a heart attack caused by her "atheis" grandchild. Thing is, if you believe that lying to your children in wrong then so be it and raise them that way dont just give and take when you feel like it, I also dont believe she had the right to decide what was best for her child since she gave away all right years ago. I think it was a subject that shouldve been discussed with us so that it would be handled better, after all I still have children of my own and one that still believes in Santa.
As far as people go, that is just one small example. I am so glad I no longer work in Customer Service
I added you, because I saw you a long time ago a community.. then I left the community. I recently joined again and saw you were still there. Yeah, I'm a fan.. kinda weird, huh? Oh well.
hello, i haven't been updating much latley, or posting pictures for that matter. most of what i have posted is on my site www.rockydawson.com. I think i have the link to self portraits under the projects section way below the other stuff listed. The link is really light because i realized i didn't want everybody going there. sorry, its a slow day at work and i tend to talk too much when its like this
