I met some really cool folks from Madison once and I really liked the Wisconsin accent. There is something really appealing to me about Wisconsin. This is exciting Jer, glad things are happening for you.
i spent some time on Tuesday talking with my cousin John's wife up in NY who graduated from U of W, Madison and she compared to a smaller version of Columbus, OH with a but more ruralness to it. frankly, the more time that i've had to think this through i'm realizing that i really don't have any attachements here in Pittsburgh (save the girl) and honestly, i don't like it much here either.
at this point i'm 99% there. i've realized over the past week that there's nothing holding me here in Pitts, friends yes but sometimes you have to know when to cut the ties that bind. oddly enough i've seen one of the few people that i really like yet never see no less than three times in the past week so i'm feeling more than confident in moving on.
honestly i want the job that my Field Training Manager has. i could see this happen, but only after they see how i do when i'm merely a sous chef up in Wisconsin. word on the street from my semi-reliable sources say that at most i'll be there a year before i'm stuck with my own store. i'm just looking to make the proper amount of money and get out.
