Notes: IDK about this one. 2nd person Pov. It was kind of a ramble. I'm never clear on the argument cause yeah. It's definitely between Martha and the Doctor inna Rift. Hopefully that much is obvious. XD I didn't want to state what the specific details are cause I'm not entirely sure what would cause this though

Wargh. I love this, because everything about is just so true. It hurts, but that is their relationship, spot-on, when it comes to certain things.

For half a second, it doesn't hurt anymore. You turn and wrap your arms around him, and he lets you.
This, for some reason, is the line that makes me want to cry. That there was ever a doubt that he would let her, and yet... he's like that, and you never can tell sometimes and oh, Martha. *Flailyhands*

...Also, you did the second-person really well. After a sentence or two, I didn't even notice. ^^ I am curious about your ideas about what the argument might have been about. I can think of a few things, maybe, but most of my reasons boil down to "AND THE DOCTOR IS A DICK." ...because he often is. XD

Yeah, it really is. I love it, but it's painful and jklajera-worthy. And I hadn't realized how long it's been since they argued until I wrote this, but they used to argue ALL the time. I figure after all they've been through it would take something big to make it happen even.

I think that was probably the hardest line to write. >Aw, thank you! This was a lot different than the other times that I did 2nd-person because those pieces were more... abstract/poetic. Anyway. Glad to hear that I managed it! I can think of a few things, but because this is something that she understands why he can't accept... her whole bringing back dead people to life which I've realized I can't stop her from doing. She's bringing someone ELSE back pretty soon here which makes for two people in like two months. I think she'll try to avoid recently dead people after that (cause that's so easy), but. I don't know how he'd find out... but I can't imagine that his reaction would be good. And she's not going to change her mind. If someone can think of a miracle

Yeah, I didn't think it'd go exactly like that which is why I was trying to avoid saying specifically what the argument was over. XD I don't know honestly if there's anything that he could say that would convince her to stop. I know she wouldn't come out and tell him. So. Idk.

We really SHOULD find a reason for them to argue again. Not that I like it when they argue... just... ya know. Stuff.
