I think it's best if we all stick close together and agree staying in large groups would be our best bet.

It would have been incredibly nice if it had been.

That's what I'm hoping for. We're better protected that way, and I won't let anyone get harmed under my watch.

We could even do with trying to make it fun. Movies, popcorn, marshmallows. Distractions may be near impossible, but I doubt anyone will be getting much sleep.

There's a deranged dead man that seems to have taken up residence the barricaded hallway down on the first floor. From what I can gather, he's a Wanderer, and was dead when he came through. Perhaps the Rift reanimated him.

I'm fairly certain he isn't dangerous. Whether or not he'll drive us all over the edge with the noise is another question entirely.

I'm grateful that he isn't dangerous, but I don't know that even knowing that all of these noises potentially come from a deranged dead man will help ease anyone's worries.

Did he say anything about what he wants?

He was going on about his house being gone and/or destroyed. He wasn't particularly coherent about what exactly happened to it. I tried to point out that he is in a different universe now, but I'm not sure if I got through to him.

I'm not sure if it's possible for him to leave that hallway. I offered to try to find some other place for him to go, but he didn't want to.

For now, I think all we can really do is try make doubly sure that nobody goes poking around in that hallway. I'll go down and try to reason with him and/or put up some kind of wards to try to block the sound. If any of you know any psychics or magical types--or exorcists, for that matter, if there are any around--that you can trust, send them my direction. Shields and wards have never been a strong suit of mine; plus, the more approaches we can try, the better.

It sounds like the best semblance of a plan at the moment. I'll let you know. There are a few that I know who can do magic. They're already working on setting up magical wards for protection.

There's nothing wrong with trying multiple avenues until we find one that works. Thank you for attempting to reason with him. I'll be certain that no one heads down there to the best of my abilities.
