That's about £50? I'd yoink it. If it was £100, I'd do a little investigating before claiming it.
money on floor is an interesting question indeed. because i'd count myself fortunate indeed to find £10 and yes, probably up to £50 and then... there's a greyish area where its enough that people won't laugh at you if you try and hand it in, but it might still be feesibly ok to keep it. hmm. anyway. half way through this thought process i thought 'does smithy really care whether i would hand it £67 or just keep it for myself?' but i decided, having written it already, that you were deeply interested and didn't know it yet...
It is actually quite interesting! £67 I would keep. £75? Probably. I think maybe £100 is the bottom rung for definitely trying to find who it belongs to. It might also depend how hard up I was. If I was utterly broke I'd consider it my good fortune, if I had enough I'd be more inclined to hand it in.
My sister and I once found about £200 in an envelope and took it to the police station... and the owner was already there asking if it had been handed in. She didn't even say thanks, so that leans me slightly towards just keeping it in future.
i love jo now :D and i... yes, i like three a lot. i don't know if i love him though. i think i just love the place that he is with unit and the master dropping round to bother him.
where did you find £200 in an envelope? that sounds like something that would only happen in a 'find out what hogwarts house you are' quiz. i didn't know it happened in real life.
