This is a rap music video sponsored by the scientists working on the LHC at CERN. It's brilliant. It explains exactly what they're doing and why, with a catchy little tune and dancing engineers. Clicky!

ETA: Has the LHC destroyed the world yet?

ETA2: Today's XKCD is LHC related. Not as funny as usual, though, except for the exchange in the last

Your icon is wonderfully appropriate!

It took me a couple of go-throughs. Stupid rappers singing too fast.

BTW if you're still concerned about the end of the universe, I've added a new link.

It's not particularly relevent to the LHC but I really like this scientific rap type thing on you tube Diagnosis Wenkebach. The Torchwood thing on Radio 4 is quite interesting.

Hee! If we're going in a medical direction, the Amateur Transplants have some brilliant songs, like Paracetamoxyfrusebendroneomycin.

I missed the Torchwood thing, but I've heard it should be online.

You can actually buy a Paracetamoxyfrusebendroneomycin lanyard. I have to admit to being very tempted. The Amateur Transplants are great.

Oooh, that is tempting. Or would be if I had a badge to put on it.

There's also the infamous Dawkins Rap. I particularly like the dancing Darwin.

Thank you so much for that link! Although my favourite part was the bit in the credits: Backing Dancers. Prefer anonymity.

Brilliant though - very clever.

Hee, yes! And the 'bad rapper'. She's not that bad really. I liked her voice.
