Definately got worse period pains as I have gotten older, am now on the implant and still get bad pains even when there is sometimes now little to show for it!

I wonder what causes it? Getting worse, I mean. Tis odd.

Yes, definitely worse now I am older - although I was okay there for a few years after having children.

Just to be clear I DO NOT advocate having children as a cure all for period pains or migraines.

In my experience, children cause migraines!

I never used to get any cramps at all. It's weird. Good to know it's not freaky, though!

Not freaky - I expect it's hormones or something...

Yay for Sarah-Jane! Even though I haven't seen it still. But yay anyway. It's probably a bad thing that SJA has become more exciting than real Who.

Wow, I'm incoherent tonight.

I never used to get period pains, headaches, anything until I was 16. Trouble was, my trouble-free periods came twice as often as they should have.
I went to the doctor's + she put me on The Pill to slow them down a bit, but scince then I've had fairly bad PMS nearly every time. Even though I stopped taking said pills after 6 months.

Ooh, strange. Did the twice as often thing go away in the end?

I don't get headaches, but I get almighty cramps these days.

Well, it went away while I was on The Pill, but not they're v. unpredictable. They can be anything from 2-5 weeks apart. o_@
