Strange to see that, isn't it? So many years spent here... so many comments, 99.9% of those helpful, and compassionate, and loving. For some reason, LJ seems so much more friendly overall than most other platforms, and that's at least why I have stayed so long.

Here's to the next ten years of friendly net activity, whatever that may be! *cheers*

I would encourage you to make the habit of posting from DW. The crossposting feature works so perfectly and then you have a perfect duplicate in case one site crashes/closes/etc. (The fact that I'm trying to only have to read one list is secondary, I swear! :))

What's DW?

I guess lj has something that's kept people around, but it doesn't seem to be aging very well, and many people I know are crossposting content to lj, only to continue being reachable to friends. lj was my first real blog, and I've clocked over 10 years myself, and until this year, it was the only place I blogged.

www.dreamwidth.org I am there under same username - LJ is blocked at work, you know OMG Russians are all hackers! So, it's more the access/convenience am posting from there.

You are right that the community feel is no longer there - I am also wondering it might be the reflection of our age group? Life has surely gotten busier and amount of time given is not as much as before! I don't know - it's so at least for me! See, it took two weeks to respond to your comment! ;)
