Sam did a mail in ballot. My dad voted this morning. I'm waiting until Pod gets up from his nap to walk over with him to vote. We are scared, but hopeful.
yay! Yes, Virginia had good results. But I still worry about all the support one of the candidates did get who was spewing unrepeatable rhetoric. sigh. So understand - scared but hopeful.
The girls and I went to vote after our playground time this morning. Tanya helped me put the ballot in the machine and got a sticker. New York shouldn't have many surprises but I don't take my right to vote for granted.
If this was Germany, many voters for the Orange Idiot would have realized their mistake by now and would not vote for Republicans again this round. It would cost the local parties dearly. But this is America and I have no idea if the Reps maybe even see him as "misunderstood" or something.
I can tell you one thing though: All the world thinks he's a complete idiot and the worst president the USA has ever had. And that's saying something. I hope the knowledge sinks in at some point into the collective Rep mind...
