Kim Jongwoon loves turtles. He loves all the other Super Junior members. So when Valentines’ Day comes, he’s sitting on the edge of his bed, head propped on his palm, thinking. And thinking. And thinking. How should he celebrate this year? Cards had been done already. So did baking and all of that other mumbo jumbo he usually left to Ryeowook. Kim Jongwoon was a man of creativity. He needed another way; a better way to show his love.
Soon one, then two, then five members emerge from their bedrooms the next morning, still dazed and mumbling incoherent words to themselves. Afterwards, the remaining files out into the kitchen, nearly stumbling over themselves in their haste. Leeteuk glances around, curiosity practically written onto his face. “Where’s Yesung?” As if on cue, the others follow suit, whipping heads and questioning murmurs.
“I think,” Donghae yawns, “he’s still in his room.”
Usually, Yesung was one of the first people up on Valentines’ Day, which really puzzled the group of twelve. However, their concerns were put at rest when they heard a doorknob turn. Yesung was wearing... a turtle suit?
“For Valentines’ Day, I shall dress as all those whom I care for. In this dorm.”
It’s 9 and Yesung’s donning a turtle costume.
It’s 10 and Yesung’s dressing up as Leeteuk.
It’s 11 and Yesung’s prancing about as Heechul.
It’s 12 and Yesung’s sitting on the couch, flicking through channels with Hankyung’s clothing and hairstyle.
It’s 1 and Yesung, who had thrown on Kangin’s outfit, is wandering aimlessly about the dorm.
It’s 2 and Yesung imitates Shindong, who is gobbling up food next to him. Twins.
It’s 3 and Yesung’s kneeling on the floor with bunnies; he’s Sungmin’s look-a-like playmate for the hour.
It’s 4 and Yesung’s attempting - and failing - to bust some dance moves that only Eunhyuk would be able to accomplish.
It’s 5 and Yesung’s all decked out in a Donghae disguise.
It’s 6 and Yesung’s seated next to Siwon, glasses on, and bible in hand.
It’s 7 and Yesung’s trailing behind Ryeowook, dressed as the eternal maknae.
It’s 8 and Kibum finds Yesung next to him on the hammock, also flipping through a book. He doesn’t notice that he’s wearing the same clothing as him.
It’s 9 and Yesung’s in Kyuhyun’s room with the real maknae, battling (and losing). In the dark, and with only the strains of light emitting from the TV, Kyuhyun doesn’t see that Yesung has borrowed his pants and his t-shirt.
It’s 10 and Yesung’s Yesung. He likes the feel of his own clothing for once, and the fact that he can do his own thing. He sinks into bed, worn out, breathing in his own scent. Even though disguises are cool, he decides he’ll stick to being the one with the big head and small hands. It’s because he likes Yesung the best. He’ll stay Yesung.
