That's mildly surprising, since I remember the Argos' run of futility in the 70s and 80s.

That has occurred to me from time to time, actually.

Someone in the Globe was speculating today that in about 5 or 6 years, the Yankees will make a play to take his contract off the Twins' hand if/when he fails to meet expectations and becomes mediocre... they seem to have a historical talent for that, though they usually manage to do well despite having a few expensive doorstops around.
On another topic, I was surprised to read today that Dion Phaneuf is only 24. I thought he was about five years older.
Yeah the Pirates have have had 17 straight losing seasons.
Dion seems to have been in the league for quite a while, which is one of the reasons why I think the trade was so good for the Leafs. D men usually need a little more time season.
I was going to ask if you were going to P24 but you answered my question elsewhere. LOL
Also if you make it to Ad.A. on Friday then YAYs but I certainly understand cutting back on socializing and spending money in order to concentrate on priorities. I am down to one social event every two months myself because of "the situation".
