Mosquito Tone Test

I was stumbling on the Internet Poll Mosquito Tone Test. What tones can you hear?today when I found a site that was talking about how people lose hearing range as they get older. Well that's boring, but here's a kicker. High schoolers are now taking advantage of this fact by using 17Khz Ring tones.  It's really cool. Supposedly peeps in the 30+ range can't hear 17Khz.  I'm not sure I believe that

I can hear them all... but 17 is less noticable and 18 is more like a feeling than a hearing. *shudders*

All the noises were extraordinarily irritating.

I've had a better-than-average hearing range my whole life.
