I don't think I'm ever really going to be back on LJ, but I wanted to post that I AM alive, and I DID finally get a new computer. The Sims 2 is gone, but I've been plugging away at TS3 for about 2 weeks now. It's... difficult.

That stinks, about your Sims 2. :( I will miss your stories, but can honestly understand not wanting to start over.

Sims 3...yyyyeah. Difficult is a good word for it. It's hard to explain, but...it's really not much like TS1 and TS2 at all. It's fun, but not in the same way. I do like exploring the tombs in Adventures, though, hee.

Thank you so much, you are too sweet! TS3 is kind of annoying but I'm enjoying it? I miss The Sims 2 and probably will since it's so functional but eh.

Same thing happened to me and I was forced to cross over to the pudding side. I think I've adjusted by now, but it sure does take a damned long time!

It's so annoying, Mao. Getting all the hacks in order to play the way you want to has driven me up the wall, but I think I got the hang of it, FINALLY.

My motherboard got fried, apparently. I never backed up my SVR and since I didn't have all my TS2 games there was no way to install them on my new computer.

ETA I LOOOOOOOOOOVE your icon. Maleficent is my FAVORITE villain ever.
