I always feel the same. Even in Saskatoon I had lived in an old building with its many quirks and my family all lived in shiny places. The problem is that I would rather stab my eyeballs out than live in those places. Ok, maybe not stab my eyeballs out - I would live in one if someone gave it to me for free but that is unlikely.
I don't know how to have the conversation about how i would rather read a book than clean my toilet in a way that my mom could understand.
