Finished this girdle book this morning & snapped some pictures. Not sure I'm as happy with the thickness of the wool I used for this, but it's a good prototype. The knot at the top goes under a belt and secure this on your person so you have easy access to the book. In period - a prayer book would be inside the fabric cover. I got a good start on this daily challenge today.  I purchased a glass bead necklace at World Market this week, and I cut it apart and made largess tokens to present TRHs Stephen and Ailleanne at Coronation.  All told, the one necklace transformed into 45 tokens.  I am not posting images here since it want those who eventually get them to be ( Read more... )
