Investments

It's hard to invest in something when you don't feel like it's gonna bear fruit. If God places me somewhere, even if I don't FEEL like I'm doing anything good, I should still be faithful to what He's called me. I guess that's the hardest way to invest into something... Maybe it's the ONLY way to invest, at least out of FAITH ( Read more... )

Hey Jer, here are some verses from Hebrews that I always bring with me to the dorms:

All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. (Hebrews 11:13)

and again, in Hebrews 11:39-40
These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised. God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.

There's so much He wants to do in you...He doesn't need you to change people's lives, and He wants to change yours too.

AWESOME VERSES SAM! =D

That is SO ENCOURAGING! I always liked the Switchfoot song "Beautiful Letdown", where they sing about how it was hard for them to try and fit in, but then they realize they don't belong. Heb. 11:13 talks about this same idea! =) Heheh, I didn't even know it was a biblical idea. THANKS SAM, for the encouragment. =D I am truly blessed to have your friendship and to recieve your encouragments. =D
You know what Sam? It's like, if I didn't know you personally, and I only knew you from afar, I would think to myself, I would be really lucky to be his friend. But I DO know you! =D And I still feel THAT lucky to be your friend. >) Hahah. I hope you are doing well Sam. =)

-Jerry
