So uh yeah, Happy New Year!!

This is the longest vacation I've taken in a while. I did a criminal lack of work over the past couple weeks, but that's ok. I can catch up this coming week.

dancinghorse did a great job of summing up Xmas here, so I'll just point y'all there. Santa was quite nice to me, too, so yay.

I've managed to get a seat at Tin Angel without eating at Serrano's. It was for a Grey Eye Glances gig back in the late '90s ('Painted Pictures' release party) when I was visiting my mother in Philly. It probably helped that I was on my own and it was the early show. (I hadn't been able to borrow a car and was dependent on the trains back to the 'burbs, which stop before midnight.) I've never been thrilled with Serrano's and how they have a stranglehood on Tin Angel patrons. :(
