My point was that it could happen at any place. I don't know much about the situation, I'll readily admit, but from what I gathered it was the off-campus people who were treating her like trash. Any school's professors will try to instill their values on their students. Whether the student takes them or not is strictly up to them.

As far as Christians go, it's an entirely different conversation. The Reader's Digest version is that no one will make her change; she will be taught the current idea of what pleases God but it is ultimately between Stephanie and God to decide what works best for Stephanie and God. I am sad that she feels pressured (I'm not surprised, really, but I'm sure the best intentions are meant), but know that she is smart enough to take suggestions and still be an individual.

I totally agree with all the busy work bullshit. Most of the time, I think college is easier or as easy as highschool. I have a few hard classes, but it's mostly just 'busy work bullshit.'

Way to not be one of them-whoever they are.

I used to think that, too, so I kinda just waltzed through school.

now i have to relearn everything because i realize that what they taught me directly coincides with what i do on a daily basis. This may not be true for you, but i wish i had actually gotten a better education with my $130k.
