This is a really good looking trailer and it's supposed to be all in-engine footage. Pretty impressive although for all we know what they did there was run the PC version at ultra settings with antialiasing pumped up. Typically games tend to have a lot more jaggies and the colors tend to be duller than that. On the other hand Mercury Steam's games ( Read more... )

Did you watch the VGA? I did, only because I wanted to see the new assassin's nominee speech for best character of the year (HE'S SO CUTE!), and for new announcements.

I haven't played the first one yet, but I liked the demo. The AC3 trailer for their upcoming DLC made me want to get it, because more Connor! That's always good.

I actually didn't because shows on TV about games tend to be console-centric (amongst other things like being all spike channely) and that rubs me the wrong way. :P

I heard The Walking Dead got game of the year though which is pretty cool.. I certainly liked it a lot better than Telltale's Back to The Future game having completed episode 1 myself and have been meaning to do a "review" of it here.

BTW, something that's amusing to me in this trailer is the way Dracul cocked his head back all melo-dramatically "I AM THE PRINCE OF DARKNESS!"

VGA is like a popularity contest for video games. XD
It was 2 hours long, and maybe only 5 categories were shown. Among all that was basically fillers. I just wanted to see more AC3, and new trailers.

I haven't played The Walking Dead game, but it looks like it's quite the emotional ride. Many people didn't like that it won GOTY.

The Castlevania trailer was so dramatic, and I was wondering what was going on the whole time. I think Dracul doesn't have much to do, except be melodramatic, lol.
