It's not venue sharing necessarily and I'm responsible with it. It's not super friends :)
In Sally's case three things kind of work in favor of it. The Pact of Ages plotline opened the doorway for her to get an occult spec in kindred. The state of the mage chronicle and the subsequent death of a variety of mage chapters caused me to find another way to play her, and made her loathe interacting with her fellow magi. And the stupidity of requiem players in speaking freely at games/thinking there are no consequences for breaking the masquerade created a niche in the requiem venue which she filled.
The sad thing is that what Sally told Simon is actually the plot of the Neil Gaiman novel Small Gods. So was it venue sharing info? Or merely the consequence of bad global plot?
Yeah I'm very against friendly CV generally, but they did that Pact of Ages plot, so there you go. One shouldn't have to ignore plot just because they disagree with the policy choice that was made way above them.
Oh I thought the Pact of Age, happy friends thing was poop on a stick as far as plot went. But then I also thought the whole ladder plot was BS and there should have just been a hard reset.
But since the messianic players were told by national that we couldn't interfere with the current national plot, and have been accused by various St's of being bad for the mage venue thanks to our fanatical mindset where are we supposed to play?
Well I had a blast. For Simon, not being too knowledgeable in the occult, this is all theory...and it's interesting to see him out of his element and forced to question the subject of faith in his Requiem. For him, he's heard a number of stories regarding the "event" of June, and her theory is as strange and implausible as any other. :) Bravo!

"Look Sally, older men are one thing. But he's like 50 million years old! What the hell is wrong with you!"
