Concerning Birthday Cakes
As brought up by my dear nephew, it seems that my 112th(?) birthday is coming up in a matter of days. Now, I know you all are planning a big surprise extravaganza jubilee (cough cough), but I thought I might let slip a hint or two on the subject of my birthday cake.
Yes, I believe the size on this one is about right. Chocolate, though. Or, one layer chocolate, one black forest, one layer devil's food, and that tiny top layer vanilla, for the poor souls who are allergic or averse to the food of the Valar that is chocolate. I'd rather no one sit on my cake either.
Or, a fancy pastry such as this would do fine... but what would the rest of you eat?

Just, the Minstrel of Gondor better not show up or jump out of the cake or anything. He drank himself silly last year and ruined my book of Elven Mushroom Recipes.
(OOC: September 22nd is also the day Sam leaves Bag End in the 4th Age to go to the Grey Havens and find Frodo. And just when I thought I couldn't love Sam any more than I do...)
