Huh. Interesting thoughts about Bonnie/Stefan. Stefan's interactions with Abby and Bonnie grated for me, mainly because I don't understand why Bonnie is tolerating Stefan's dickishness (when she would NEVER do so with Damon). But really, I love Stefan being a dick, so I can't disagree there.

First off, I don't think most of this fandom understands Bonnie at all, and sometimes her fans understand her even less.

lol, so much truth. C&P for most of this show's characters tbh.

And yes to all your Bonnie feels, obvs. ♥ Esp: but to those out there who are belittling what is there: QUIT IT. -- PREACH. Y'all are not helping.

I… think I am with you in respecting Bill's decision to honour his own principles? It made him a lot more interesting to me than he was previously.

Stefan's interactions with Abby and Bonnie grated for me, mainly because I don't understand why Bonnie is tolerating Stefan's dickishness (when she would NEVER do so with Damon).

This is where we would benefit from having her more involved with the core cast onscreen, or just for the plot to slow down. All I could give is speculation...so I guess I will do that.

One: I almost think she showed Elena the coffins just as much to spite Stefan as she just needed Elena with her when she went looking for Abby. She was clearly just as irritated as he was.

Two: I think it's clear she's been dealing with the Salvatores differently than she used to. It may be that in learning to tolerate and work with Damon, who will always be that way, she can also do the same with Stefan.

Three: I go back to my Damon/Rose theory. Here's one of my favorite interactions with them.

Rose: Who'd have thought you'd be a nice guy?
Damon: I'm not nice. I'm mean. I like it

Hmm, I like your thoughts. You're right, this would all probably be clearer if the writers cared to put more Bonnie on our screen.

I imagine if he manages to stay alive until graduation, he will probably do the leaving. You should catch him on his way out. ;)
