It took a solid 12 hours of being on the road for us to travel from Valley Center in San Diego County to Sunol in Alameda County, but at ten o'clock last night we finally got back from being in Southern California. I called you today, you were probably on the road. Good to hear you got home safely! :D Thank you so much for your help down here. Its so amazing to see from the roadside just how close the fire came to some of these houses yet they remained intact thanks to you and the other firefighters. My cell phone has been getting crappy reception lately. I don't know if it is the weather changing just how well the radio signals travel or what, but I got your message eventually. And thanks! Admittedly, I had fun down there working and such. Many people are very lucky. It just goes to show that clearance around your home is a must no matter where you live!
