1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
kissed a few people that would have surprised my 2005 self. got a real job & experienced self sufficieny. started driving. got in a car accident. almost killed myself and several other people while driving more times than i can count. Went camping without any adult supervision. stopped

Sounds like a helluva year!

I can relate to your last paragraph so much, it's one of those things that keeps me awake at night thinking at the moment. I hate how I am unable to let the people in question go, even though as you say the reverse probably does no apply.
