How do you get your camera to take clear pictures of your make up? I have never been able to get any camera to do that. No matter what kind, what lighting, flash/no flash. What's your trick?
I use an Olympus point and shoot. They're the only cameras I've ever gotten to be able to take clear up close pictures. I highly recommend Olympus cameras over any other brand.
They have a function called "Super Macro + flash" and it's FABULOUS. I hold the camera about 2.5 inches from my eye and then take the picture. Sometimes I do it in front of the mirror so in the mirror I can see that my eye is centered properly in the LCD view. I hold down the shutter button halfway to focus it, then push all the way down.
