I'm currently in Halle, Germany, where I'm researching for my Honors Thesis on punk during the communist era. They used to get imprisoned, tortured, and shut down pretty hard by the legendarily efficient Stasi secret police, and so I'm going to see how I can tell their story. I'm working with interviews, zines, plays, and demo tapes from that time to try and paint a picture.

I will be back in Texas this July.

i too am bored out of my mind. i just got out of one class, and my next one doest start until 2pm. thus i have several hours to kill. i think im going to go by comic books, instead of food...
