[Considering the level of technology before he'd returned from the fight, Cid is damn sure that not everyone in this village knows about electricity. After metaphorically banging his head on the doorframe at some of the journal posts, he's decided to do something about it. This is excellent. Thank you. I wasn't sure what most of this did, but dealing with one house fire already, I'll make sure some other people know and right now.

[It's a good thing she can't hear him swear.]

Just stop them from sticking things places. Jackasses getting themselves hurt...

Oh, I'm trying. I think I managed to convince a friend that putting torches in the electric oven is a bad idea.

[And if he's guessing she's talking about the guy below...he would be right.]

Many thanks for the useful guide, Sir Cid.

...But what of the box that makes fire?

...You shouldn't HAVE a box that makes fire if you're using it right.

...And suppose such an enchanted box made its way into my possession nonetheless. It too can be controlled with this "electricity", correct?

[Yes, he wrote this for people like you.]

Show it to me.

Thank you for the guide, Sir. I'm one of the few who isn't very familiar with this "electricity", but I feel as if I'm learning more about it due to your guide.

Didn't want someone getting hurt before this is all out. That's only the start of stuff, but I mean it, until someone shows you how to use it, don't try. I don't think anyone wants to burn anything down here.

I will find someone who is more knowledgeable in modern technology or read about it from books in the library to better my own knowledge before I even attempt to touch any of the new devices. I will pass this information to the others living with me as well, since they are the same as me.

Thanks. Check your drawers; they might've thrown some instruction booklets somewhere.

[Hi, kid. Hope you like accents. Mun filled out the permis post for him, right?]

[He's standing behind a wooden table, one of the new things partially disassembled before him. Looks like he shouldn't be there, either, as he's obviously kind of tired and worn out, but he's used to working on little sleep and energy.]

Yeah? Whaddyou want?

[Yes sir you did and yes sir he does. Anyway, he's going to see that and... smirk a little. He can see he's that type of man, huh?]

I wanted to meet you in person.

[Yeah, he's totally that type of man. At least he's not smoking at the moment, though it's clear the shop isn't free of the smoke from old ones.]

What's yer name, then?

Vincent... [She's not going to comment on that electricity stuff because it all makes her facepalm right now.]

Is there anything I can do?

Keep watch on him. I got him outta the demon - had to hit him with a truck to do it.

[HE'S NOT KIDDING ABOUT THAT.]

But it's still gotta be in his mind, and I don't think any of them are going away easily.

[YOU REBEL, CID.] A truck? [Okay, she's just... not going to think about it. MOVING ON.]

But- okay. I'll watch him. And... I'll do whatever else I can think of to stop it from getting worse.

The demon'd kill me and it's what I had at the time. Keep something heavy around in case he changes again - you're good, but looks like blunt force trauma's got the best chance of knocking him out.
