Last installment, y'all. Whew. Merry Christmas, and ♥!

ETA: Since this will be the LAST post for this novella, I just want to remind anyone reading this 'verse after it's conclusion that you need to scroll to the BOTTOM of the screen, the first entry in this 'verse, to start the story at the beginning!

Oh, I love this. All the descriptions that are just right. The paragraph about Jack sleeping, and then Sawyer's speech about the view. It's perfect. Along with his finally being able to say the words, which is huge for how far he's come, and you did it all in character.

Sometimes, setting secrets free is the only thing that can save you.

This, as a last line, is also perfect for this novel. It sums it up, and it's true, and it's exactly what you set out to do here and you accomplished it.

You have truly done something to be proud of with this story. I'm proud of you for writing it, and I'm pleased as hell to have benefitted by being able to read it.

*applauds*

I am SO GLAD you thought it turned out right. I told you it was a "cue the violins" ending, and I wasn't kidding, huh? ;) This is what happens when I decide not to put a leash on my schmoop muse! And I was nervous about the last line, so I'm so glad you think it's perfect. *HUGS* and thank you, and especially thank you for EVERYTHING you've said and done as I wrote and posted this. There are no words to express how much that means to me. ♥

I didn't think this part was schmoopy at all! You've got nothing to worry about. The whole thing was great. ♥

You know how you've got people making lists to define "kink"? We need to do the same thing with "schmoop." What exactly defines schmoop? And is it different for everyone? Enquiring minds want to know. ;)

Congratulations! *applauds* It's so amazing that you wrote this, you should give yourself a HUGE pat on the back. It's really fantastic.

The ending was perfect, I love how Sawyer describes the changes in how Jack sleeps, from the island to when he first came to the house, and how he sleeps now. So lovely.

And Sawyer finally says the words, finally understands that he and Jack are going to stay together and Jack loves him, and he's deserving of that love! That makes me so happy. And you've totally earned that, I really feel that Sawyer has come so far and learned so much, and so has Jack!

*loves you* Merry Christmas!

And you've totally earned that,

Oh, it makes me so happy to hear you say that! Getting those two to that place, of total love and even trickier, trust, was a challenge to say the least. It makes me feel so good to know that you think I did the work that needed to be done to make it turn out the way it did. I adore you for so many reasons, and your being here through this whole thing is just one of them.

*loves you back lots and lots*, and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Congratulations dear. *hugs* This has been an amazing series. You worked so hard and created something wonderful.

I love this so very much. I love that Sawyer wakes up and finally gets it, that he takes Jack out into the mountains that he obviously loves because that's the only place he can think of to tell Jack how he feels and not only does he do that, but he shouts it out into the mountains and Jack is left stunned but happy. :) And the last line is perfect.

Once again, you've done a wonderful job. I'm so proud of you. :)

You're the best, you know that? You've kept me motivated through this whole thing, made me feel like it had merit and was worth all the blood, sweat and tears. I appreciate you SO MUCH! And I'm so glad you think all the payoff was worth all the reading and commenting you've done over this last month. I've said thank you before, but here is the biggest THANK YOU of all. *loves*

Merry Christmas! ♥

awww that was so sweet! what a perfect ending to see those two tortured men finally at peace, with each other and the world in a way, in love.

not only does Sawyer tell Jack he loves him, he shouts it to the world. that's beautiful. and to the mountains, that are a big part of this story too. it shows that you love that region, it sure got through to us (and now I wish I could see them, those Smokey mountains, with the mist... you know?).

thank you so much for this great serie. I loved it very much and I know you almost sweat blood to get it done. You sure can be proud of yourself, and know that I'm very proud of you! ♥

Merry Christmas!

Thank you so much, sweetheart! I wanted them to be happy SO bad, and there at the end I just pulled out all the stops. I'm so glad you liked that. And I want you to see the Smokies, too! If you ever decide to vacation there please let me know, because I have "connections" for places to stay that I can tell you all about in email.

It makes me so proud to know that you're proud of me! *blushes and glows*

I hope you have the best Christmas ever! ♥
