I hate everybody. I like you, but I hate everybody. This is a gross generalization, but I maintain it. To keep this post from becoming a 7 page incoherent rant, I will Identify and give examples of the three characteristics I see in society that make me hate everybody.

I said that a lot over the summer, but it wasn't partially provoked by politics, it was more the first two reasons you mentioned accompanied by the complete and utter stupidity of tourists. "Why can't we see the Colorado River? Did it dry up?" "Is that Canada on the other side of the canyon?" "Can I be seated in the ocean view room?" There were other stupid questions of course, but I don't want to bore you. The point is, people generally suck and for many many reasons, although you are correct in that most reasons center around selfishness in one way or another.

Given your foresight on the long-term effects of peoples' stupidity and laziness you might want to start caring a little more about long-term effects of choices important politicians make. Laws affect values and the structure of the country's economy. Both eventually will affect you and descendents whether or not you care about the immediate short-term effects. Given our moral decline in the last 50 years and our progression toward socialism it may be that your kids will grow up in an entirely different America.

Dang, I should have told you how I was really feeling on Sunday. You probably didn't notice it, but I had tried to clear up my tear streaked face from such an emotional morning...
my rant came out as tears rather than words. That morning I had so many of the same feeling you described here. They weren't new feelings of course, but they came to a head once again that morning. For no reason imparticular, just reflection.

Thanks for articulating many of them. Exactly, we do we have to act like everyone is retarded for lack of a better term if they don't agree with us...especially in the church...shouldn't that be a place where the opposite happens. The one place on earth where the opposite happens!

And yes, the lexus commercials, noel has been fueled by those as well.
