The other day I went bicycling around Stanford campus to burn off energy. I found myself eventually at the main quad, for lack of a better term (it's more of an oval), where I lay down on the grass to relax a bit. Well, karate is also a game with its rules
If you were, for example, watching a soccer game, would you run up, grab the ball, shove everyone out of your way and throw it to the goal?
In fact, karate alone is pretty useless in the dark street? it's more of a breathing exercise. But combined with other tactis,such as ushu, taekwondo etc it can become mre than that
Am I being smart?)

This is a good response and it makes sense. I've never taken karate so I don't know how it's taught, eg as a means of self-defense or a meditation-type exercise.

this is great. these are the sorts of thoughts we need to capture in life. And...as long as no one tries to connect this desire to fight to your gender, I"ll be okay. I hate it when people do that.
