Eyeshield 21...?

Mizumachi dragged me to the Zokugaku vs. Deimon game recently and was in for quite a shock.  I hadn't known what to expect, but then I saw him, the Deimon "ace", Eyeshield 21.  Apparently from Notre Dame in America.  All I know is... THAT. IS. A. TOTAL. LIE

I...don't know very much about sports, so I hadn't heard much about Eyeshield 21. I only know what Hiruma-san says, which tends to involve a lot of swearing and trash-talking.

Yes. The real Eyeshield 21 was the ace the middle school Notre Dame. I would never forgot him or his voice, and Deimon's Eyeshield 21 definitely does not sync up. I understand Deimon's tooting this fake Eyeshield 21 as their ace, but as someone who was in America? HE WAS NOT IT.

Well, does Eyeshield 21 have some infamy in amefuto circles? Maybe Hiruma-san's using the name for intimidation factor...or maybe it's coincidence.

I think he's holding tryouts soon. I might go, though not to do anything that would get me shot. Or stabbed. Or eaten by a dog.

Honestly? I have no clue. I am still trying to find the real Eyeshield 21. Wasn't able to get his name, just that he transferred back to Japan. Either way, Deimon's Eyeshield 21 doesn't deserve the name.

Ahhh... tryouts? It'd be a good way to get more information, but do you think you can handle Hiruma's tryouts? Based on what I've heard, it'd be nice to still have you around for some tea some time...

...I believe Kyoshin double's the flight of stairs you have to climb from the amount in the entrance exam since you have less time to get used to them.

Eyeshield 21, a fake? Hm, that's an interesting thought. He does have some skills, although he has trouble getting past Shin, though Shin even acknowledges him as a rival.

I'll keep that in mind.
