I admire your resolve; I didn't have it in me to complete Mikeneko. I watched the previews so I knew what I was getting myself into, but I was still hoping for a more horror/dark humour affair as opposed to the lighter children's show feel. (There was also a part of me that wished the cat REMAINED a cat, like Salem from Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. Gosh, that reminds me of my childhood.) Even if I suspended all my expectations and wishes, I still didn't enjoy the show because of the same reasons you stated in your previous post

I'm actually surprised at my OWN resolve at finishing Mikeneko, and I COMPLETELY understand what you said about the cat staying a cat. My LORD does Sabrina bring back memories!! I remember wanting to be JUST like her. Or Piper Halliwell from Charmed. Ohkura literally was the little LITTLE light in some of the episodes, I could NOT fault his comedic side. Sadly, not enough for me like it
